New customs and immigration procedures in Carriacou and Grenada
Grenadian Customs and Immigration Service, has reduced the number of Entry/Exit: Port of Entry Offices for visiting foreign yachts to the State of Grenada to two (2) temporary designated PORTS OF ENTRY one for Grenada and one for Carriacou .
Further to the Official information received from ASP Leroy Joseph: Head of Immigration, Grenada. Please be advised of the following:
Temporary, PORTS OF ENTRY: Customs and Immigration Offices are located as follows:
In Grenada: Port Louis Marina, Saint Georges.
In Carriacou: Carriacou Marine,on the SW side of Tyrrel Bay next to the FuelDock.
Yachts coming from the North or clearing out of Grenadian waters to go to the North, can clear in or out at Carriacou Marine’s Custom and Immigration office.
Yachts coming from the South or intending to go South, can clear in or out of at Port Louis Custom and Immigration Office.
Private Yachts or Charter Yachts do not need to go to the Commercial Ports as these are only for Cargo Ships carrying goods and supplies.
